Job Description BeatPulseLabs is seeking high-level Music Annotators to listen to and technically describe tracks across diverse genres. This role requires a rare combination of formal music theory knowledge and advanced English proficiency.

Core Responsibilities

Technical Auditory Analysis: Deconstruct songs by ear to identify arrangement, instrumentation (e.g., detuned synths, polyrhythms), and production techniques.

Structured Writing: Produce summaries in fluent English that capture the "vibe," vocal style, and emotional arc of a track.

Multilingual Context: (If applicable) Annotate tracks from various cultures, ensuring that cultural nuances are accurately translated into English technical descriptions.

Required Qualifications

Music Theory Competency: You must be able to identify song structures, specific instruments, and mixing qualities (e.g., "minimal low-end weight," "vocoder-style vocals"). A degree in Musicology, Composition, or Sound Engineering is highly preferred.

English Language Mastery: You must possess a C1/C2 or Native-level command of English. You will be expected to write descriptions that are professional, grammatically perfect, and descriptive.

Critical Listening: Ability to notice subtle changes in layers, such as a "trumpet layer" being removed or a "looser synth line" entering a chorus.
