I wish to use my TEFL training along with my year of experience teaching in Ukraine to further assist those wishing to learn the English language, in a fun and relaxed atmosphere. I now live in Kharkov, Ukraine with my wife and two children, it is a lovely city and has given me much and I wish to “give back.” Learning languages helps to remove barriers to communication; this creates understanding and fosters trust. It is my little way of making the world a better place to live.

American Language Camp, Buymerovka (2018 Head teacher led to other teachers)
Plan and conduct lessons to facilitate fast learning for children in a 2 week camp setting. Ages of children ranged from 5 to 17. There were ************ hours with beginners, then 2 hours with advanced students. Facilitate English speaking for students of mixed ages and sexes
Educate a wide range of professional levels, from high school students to the head of a biology department at a local university
Plan all lessons using Power Point, flash cards, and a white board to help students better understand new concepts and grammar points.

Conducted lessons twice a week, there were two goals, that I needed to achieve with my lessons:
To get the apprentices the required hours to take their Journeyman test.
Make sure they had the knowledge to pass the test

Worked with the administrator to develop training programs for the tour guides of non-English speakers.
Developed the plan to assure the millions of visitors to the National park that do not speak English could still have a knowledgeable visit.
Set the goal to make sure we had different language speakers dispersed throughout the park, to offer help as soon as possible.
